During Covid I investigated Cuban history and made me aware of colonialism and environmental issues that affects minor communities in a complex political situation.

In 2023 while doing research for my dissertation 'Coffee, AgriCultures, colonialism and Cuba. Deconstructing painting, poetry and cinema' I visited Kew Gardens in London where I encounter for the first time the Coffea Arabica plant, the most popular and threaten by climate change and deforestation.
